Well, that was a bit of hiatus...
I swear I didn't intend it to take 6 months to post a new episode! Life caught up to me and things got busy and I put it off and well, y'all know how it goes. In that time I made a wonderful second trip to New Zealand (links to my blogs and photos are in the Episode 31 notes), got a civil union, and decided to move back to Texas later this month. It's still crazy around here but I'll work hard to get the next episode up within a few weeks. :)

I'm home! (...though I wish I wasn't :p)
My trip to New Zealand was wonderful. My girlfriend and I had a fabulous time geeking out about Xena and just generally enjoying our time together in such a breathtaking setting. My last night there, we decided to regal y'all with stories of our adventures and dazzle you with our awesomely witty banter. Or, in other words, we had a good time just being silly for an hour. New Zealand is a magical place and I can't wait to go back. Enjoy!

My new tattoo
My grandparents were very important to me. I was an only grandchild and they doted on me. They both died last year. Since I'm leaving Texas to move to Seattle next week, I wanted to take a little part of them with me. When I was a kid, they had a CB radio. Our handles were Mama Rat, Papa Rat, and Baby Rat. The Rat Pack. My buddy Bart did this tattoo for me in honor of them. The little cowboy outfit was my favorite one and Grandpa was always doing crossword puzzles. It turned out bigger than I thought but I love it. It covers half the outside of my left leg.

I'm not a tease, I swear
I am so sorry about posting that the episode would be out on Sunday and then not delivering. I had every intention to get it done. But when I woke up Sunday morning, it was to the news that my Grandpa had died. He was 83 and went in his sleep. Best way I can think of to go. Anyway, I just got home tonight and hope to get the episode posted this weekend, I promise. Thanks for the encouraging emails.
